Tour Detail : Manimahesh Yatra in Himachal Pradesh is treated as a state level fair as per the declaration of the Himachal Pradesh State Government. Manimahesh is well approached from Pathankot through Chamba and Bharnaur. Walking to the way of the Manimahesh Lake is a wonderful experience. One will forget the pains of the tiresome journey watching the wonderful natural scenery and get drenched in the enchanting ambiance. However one should be physically fit to endure this journey in an altitude of 4080 meters. The Manimahesh Lake is believed to be one of the abode of Lord Shiva as per the Hindu mythologies. The wonderful route not only enthuse the pilgrims but also excites the adventure lovers and tourists. The Manimahesh Yatra is one such pilgrimage, which starts from Lakshminarayan Temple in Chamba and ends at the Manimahesh Lake in Bundhil valley. After reaching Manimahesh Lake they take dips in the holy water. With the termination of the Manimahesh Yatra.

Mani Mahesh Peak is located 35km from Bharmour and its also called Chamba Kailash. The peak is 5486m above sea level. The pilgrimage to Mani Mahesh is called \"Man ka Mahesh\" because it provides one with spiritual satisfaction after viewing Mount Kailash and taking a holy dip in the lake. The Mani Mahesh Yatra begins on Krishna Janmashtami and concludes on Radha Ashtami every year.
Arrive at Chakki bank or Pathankot railway station, Pick and leave for Chamba. Arrival in Chamba and check in hotel. Evening is free to explore historical town of Chamba & visit Laxmi Narayan temple of Chamba is a masterpiece of Himalayan heritage architecture. Dinner and overnight stay in a hotel.
Check out start for Hudsar by Bharmour. Bharmour is 65km from Chamba, which is famous for 84 ancient temples. Now we drive from Bharmour to Hudsar which is the starting point of Mani Mahesh Trek. Trek to Dancho. It takes around 3 hours to reach our first camp site at Dancho. Overnight in Tents.
After refreshing and breakfast, start towards Gauri kund and then to Mani Mahesh lake. There are two ways to reach Mani Mahesh: one is through Bandar ghati and another is way, which generally for visitors. Overnight in Tents.
Day - 4 :Mani Mahesh Lake (3950m) – Dancho
Morning darshan of holy Kailash retrun to dancho by Same Route and Overnight in Tent.
Day - 5 :Dancho - Hudsar - Chamba
Leave Dancho for Hudsar,and then drive to Chamba. Dinner and overnight in pre booked hotel.
Day - 6 :Chamba - Khajjiar - 24 kms
Check out from the hotel start for Khajjiar (also called Mini Switzerland of India) after lunch. Check in at exactly the heart of the great Khajjiar Meadows. Overnight in hotel.
Day - 7 :Khajjiar – Dalhousie - 22kms
After Breakfast check out & leave for dalhousie. En-route Visit Kalatope wild life sanctuary. And visit Subash bowli dedicated to Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose (Indian revolutionary leader), Sat dhara and Panjpulla. After all exploration check into pre booked hotel for dinner and for overnight stay.
After Breakfast check out & drive towards Chakki Bank / Pathankot railway station to board the train for further journey with sweet memories of the tour.
