Days Itinerary

  1. Day - 1 : Arrive New Delhi

    Arrive New Delhi by International flight. Meeting and assistance upon arrival and transfer to hotel. Overnight stay at the Hotel. Later drive to Neemrana and check-in at the Hotel. Overnight stay at the hotel.

  2. Day - 2 : Neemrana - Jaipur

    Breakfast at hotel. Morning drive to Jaipur (170 kms/04 hrs). Arrive Jaipur and check-in at Hotel. Afternoon visit the imposing Jaigarh Fort, built in 1726 by Jai Singh, was opened to public in mid-1983. The fort was never captured and so has survived virtually intact through the sanctuaries. The Fort has its water reservoirs, residential areas, puppet theatre and the Canon (world's largest single molded one). Also visit the Royal Gaitor, the cenotaphs of the Royal family, just outside the city walls. The cenotaphs of Maharaja Jai Singh II is particularly impressive. Overnight stay at the hotel.

  3. Day - 3 : Jaipur

    Breakfast at hotel. Morning visit Amber Fort the ancient capital of state until 1728. The fort is a superb example of Rajput architecture, stunningly situated on a hillside and overlooking a lake, which reflects its terraces and ramparts. Visit the Jagmandir of the Hall of victory glittering with mirrors, Jai Mahal and the Temple of Kali. You ride up to the ramp of this 11th Century Bastion atop a gaily-decorated elephant.

    Afternoon City sightseeing tour includes Maharaja's City Palace, which occupies a large area divided into a series of courtyards, gardens and buildings. The outer wall was built by Jai Singh, but other addition are much more recent, same dating from the start of this century. Today, the palace is a blend of Rajasthani and Mughal architecture. The palace now houses a museum containing rare manuscripts, fine specimens of Rajput and Mughal paintings and weapons also visit Jantar Mantar, next to the entrance of the City palace, begun by Jai Singh in 1728. Jai Singh's passion for astronomy was even more notable than his prowess as a warrior and, before commencing construction, he sent scholars abroad to study foreign observatories. Jantar Mantar appears to be just a curious collection of sculptures but in fact each construction has a specific purpose, such as measuring the positions of stars, altitudes and azimuths and calculating eclipses also visit Hawa Mahal, which was constructed in 1799, the Hawa Mahal of the Palace of Winds, is one of Jaipur's major landmarks, although it is actually little more than a fa'ade. This five story building, which overlooks the main street of the bustling old city, is a stunning example of Rajput artistry with its pink, delicately honeycombed sandstone windows. Overnight stay at the hotel.

  4. Day - 4 : Jaipur - Fatehpur Sikari - Agra

    Breakfast at hotel. Morning depart by surface to Agra (232 kms/05 hrs) visiting Fatehpur Sikri enroute Fatehpur Sikri, a cultural and imperial capital conceived and built by Emperor Akbar in 1569 and later abandoned due to scarcity of water. See the graceful buildings within the city including Jama Masjid, Tomb of Salim Chisti and Panch Mahal. Continue your journey to Agra. Arrive Agra and check-in at Hotel. Overnight stay at the hotel.

  5. Day - 5 : Agra

    Breakfast at hotel. Morning visit the world famous Taj Mahal built by Emperor Shah Jahan in memory of his second wife, Mumtaz Mahal, whose death in childbirth in 1631 left the emperor so heartbroken that his hair is said to have turned grey overnight. Construction of the Taj begun in the same year and was not completed until 1653. In total 20,000 people from India and Central Asia worked on the building. Mark Twain said of this monument "you cannot keep your emotions within bounds, when that soaring bubble of marble breaks upon your view". The Taj Mahal is like a silent rhapsody that you will carry in your heart. Also visit Agra Fort, constructed by Emperor Akbar in 1565 on the bank of the Yamuna River. Initially the fort was a military structure, but during Shah Jahan's reign it had partially become a palace. Also visit Itmad-ud-Daula's Tomb. Rest of the day free for independent activities. Overnight stay at the hotel.

  6. Day - 6 : Agra - New Delhi

    Breakfast at hotel. Morning drive to reach Delhi. Arrive at New Delhi. Check-in at at the Hotel. Evening free for independent activities. Overnight stay at the hotel.

  7. Day - 7 : Depart. New Delhi

    In time transfer to Indira Gandhi International Airport to board flight for onward destination.
